The Environmental Initiative
As part of our commitment to reducing our environmental footprint, we invite all guests to join us in this effort. Towels are replaced only if left on the bathroom floor, and linens are changed upon request at the reception. We also prioritise purchasing locally produced goods and carefully select other products that support our sustainability values.
Reception and Services
Our reception is open from 08.00 to 22.00 (20.00 in winter). Our welcoming staff are happy to assist with anything from sightseeing recommendations and local activities to takeaway orders or transport arrangements. Refreshments and light snacks are available for purchase at the reception during opening hours.
Non-Smoking Policy
Hotel Djurhuus is a smoke-free property. We kindly ask all guests to respect this policy for the comfort of everyone. In the event of a violation, an additional cleaning charge of DKK 3,000 may be added to the room bill.
Check In and Check Out
Check in is from 15:00 unless other arrangements have been agreed in advance. Guests are kindly asked to vacate their rooms by 11:00 on the day of departure.

§ 13
(1) All visitors aged 16 and above who arrive in the Faroe Islands and pay for accommodation shall pay a sustainability fee of DKK 20 per night.
(2) Accommodation providers, including hotels, campsites, camping grounds, and private individuals offering accommodation for payment, for example bed and breakfast, shall add the sustainability fee to the accommodation price.
Anyone renting out accommodation via online marketplaces shall likewise add the sustainability fee to the rental price.
